Our Mission

The mission of Way Walkers Worldwide is to help leaders lead, especially those who lack outside resources. We address church leadership needs through in-country, Christ-centered, biblically-based, and culturally sensitive training.

Who We Are

Because we have served in diverse cultural settings, we are familiar with the challenges of carrying the message of Christ to a world dominated by other religions or no religion at all. Therefore, our passion is to use our gifts and experience to serve those ministers who have limited access to training.

Where We Go

Way Walkers Worldwide works with ministry personnel in missional settings. Sometimes, regional church leaders request guidance for ministers and workers in their areas. Other times, small seminaries and pastors’ schools invite us to provide instruction for their students.

Often these leaders minister in places where Christians experience oppression. In addition, they usually serve with minimal training and meager financial support. They want to:

  • Improve their preaching
  • Understand how God’s Word can speak to their people
  • Discover additional approaches for ministry in their environment
  • Explore ways they can develop and grow their churches
  • Experience renewed hope in their spiritual lives

What Our Work Looks Like

We work with our hosts to plan programs that will meet the needs of their people. As a result, our content may include:

  • Preaching instruction
  • Biblical interpretation with an emphasis on the context and culture of Scripture
  • Ministry ideas for their settings
  • Strategies to structure and develop their churches
  • Encouragement for pastors and spouses

The teaching times involve both lecture and dialogue. Furthermore, we introduce the participants to resources that will assist them after our departure.

Since many attendees face financial hardship, our organization, does not charge for our ministry.

Above all, we desire to help leaders lead, using their God-given gifts for the building of his kingdom.
